We have never entered into a building project on the scale of this one before and we were understandably apprehensive. We wanted a first floor extension that would extend an existing bedroom and create a new one at the back of the house. Barrett builders were one of several recommended to us by the Architect who drew up the plans, Simon Barrett was competitive in his quote but also inspired us with confidence from the first time we met him.

After a short delay at the start due to an accident the work proceeded well. We are very happy with the final result and with the way Simon and Andrew worked together throughout the project. The sub contractors were managed well and any disruption to our lives was kept to an absolute minimum. We are very happy to recommend them to anyone considering building work and Simon knows he can refer any potential new customer to us.
